January 17th 2008, Studio City - I do believe tonight is key and why it is the year of new beginnings.  Be different and hear what the Lord is saying, “How am I going to shift into new seasons.”   New seasons are not easy to shift into. They are new whether we embrace them or not. The number eight is a new beginning but it is just not our new beginning, its God's new beginning.  So it is not just us wanting something new to happen, its God moving in a new beginning in the earth realm and we need to realign with it.  It's not easy to undress what is going on with you.

Understanding symbols- my notes in 1998, 1988, 1978- Hebraic numbering, looking at new beginnings and what God is doing.  This is a different season and the Lord is doing a new beginning.

In this season we have been in, we are going into the 8th year of this season.  We are really beginning new and fresh.  Eight years ago, you saw where you were 8 years ago- I’m asking God to show me what has been going on to get me in the next season.

At Rosh Hashanah our family gets under our arbor, sukah/tree and begin that year at the Feast of Tabernacles- celebrating that the last year, understanding the one new man. Twenty years we have done this.

Jew and Gentile; this year was different. I was not to start the Feast of Tabernacles at home with my family. I cherish those times and my daughter said she was going to do it since I will not be there. That means something for the next generation to move forward without being told to do it.  The Lord said, “I am going to show you your path for this new beginning. My path for you will begin the Feast of Tabernacles in California because that is the place I am going to look at in this nation for a new beginning.”

Understand we are in a sovereign change in this particular state. It is sovereign or I would not have done it. I knew when Steve Dittmar, Jubilee Praise Center, Camarillo, CA called, inviting me to the Feast of Tabernacles.  I knew God was confirming what He had shown me in my heart. That's where I began.  With that, it is important to watch everything that happens because what God is doing this year is He is revealing your new beginning. That's a better way to look at. It is not just going to happen.   Poof, that’s not how it works. When we started at the Feast of Tabernacles the first night, The Lord said, “Now, I will take California as a prototype and reveal the new beginning that will occur in an entire nation.”

This is a very important meeting. When Jerry Bowers, Pray CA called, I knew I needed to be here. I know I needed to be here at Passover.  I’m not here to tell you what is going to happen but to be with you this year based on what is developing in your midst, because every time I come I start a new beginning, and I get my next piece of my new beginning. I will tell you the process the Lord took me through the week of the Feast of Tabernacles, a feast of 8 days:  7 days you celebrate and the 8th day is a divine rest you enter into after celebrating. This year California began by celebrating their new beginning.

Unity doesn't occur because everybody in California celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles, that's not how God works. Unity occurs when those with like purpose hear His mind, gathering together in one place like this, and all of the sudden we're in unity. We are in unity over what God is doing at a moment in time. We don't understand time the way God presents it to us. Time isn't a linear process that we are in.  Time is an event that God initiates in the earth because God is not defined by time. When God initiates an event and we respond to it, we're in Him, in unity. And so here is a very, very key time for California.  It’s not just this meeting.  I am sure there are other meetings going on because some way or another, the clock of California got in God’s time at the Feast of Tabernacles.

We are all moving in a process of change and a new beginning. I'll be privileged to be back over to Che’s church next week.  You want to start seeing what's happening. Another thing, I gave a word last April about Michigan, so I went to Michigan last week to be with Michigan. You want to watch what God is doing in this nation. 

Now this past year I updated the book Future War of the Church because in this season the Lord instructed me to have this book ready before 9/11 happened. It's been a very good book and now it's updated, so it's more of a history book now. If you have the other book its like Peter said when he read this one, “It's like I've never read that other book before because it justifies what God is doing.”  It's a very good book for us. This book takes us into the next season of God's Unfolding Battle Plan.  It’s the next in the series here, and this book is written from our perspective on how the mind wars against what God is doing and how the blood wars. It has one of the most revelatory chapters on the blood.  Then it begins to talk about the nations realigning, then it mentions three states. California is one of them, and tells of how this nation will begin to form its future based upon three different states.  Within them already is brewing a nation, you being one of them, so it becomes very important that we understand the time.

The Lord told me to get ready for a new beginning. Last year, knowing seven is a year of completion- we are always out on an edge and if you do not make a shift now you will be an old wineskin, especially when people don't know what you are doing to start with. You are going to shift by worship. We set up three worship teams, three writing teams and those teams are going to get in the watches. They are going to learn how to intercede, learn how to pull down the sound, and then write the song of heaven. Then they are going to blend their cultures together. This was not an easy process we went through this year, because we have a multi-racial type church, a multi-cultural church and then we have multi-cultural sounds, all the way from a “boot-scootin’ Texas” heaven sound, all the way to hip hop sound, all the way into key intimate worship.  The Lord said, “If you blend it together you begin hearing the sound of what I am doing in the future.” That CD is available for us to start listening to hear some of the sounds coming forth at this time.

Look at Psalm 119 vs. 57.  Here's how you want to think about a new beginning:  Think breakthrough- all eight’s link with gaining momentum. When I went the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles with California, I needed to stay with you as you gain momentum in your changes ahead. Lots of things are changing for us right now. I've warned all the prophets.  We have a meeting once a year and ours is always at Rosh Hashanah time and have been the last several years and I said, “Please don't get up and announce who is going to win the presidency yet because this year is about momentum.”   Now hear me, it’s about how momentum develops and how favor moves on us. It's not the same political season we have ever been in so you can't view everything from a rigid political party.  That's just like a religious spirit and you are going to miss some of what God is doing in the midst to bring change. It's interesting to watch as things are developing in our nation politically. Now, I want to make a distinction here because government and politics are two different issues and most of us don't separate those two. Politics, Jesus said can be very deadly.  He said its one of the two things to be very careful of and be very watchful of. Now government is a different issue, and yet I think in the year of change God is looking at some places and saying, “I am rearranging my government in that territory.”   California is one of those. So with that, it becomes very interesting that we see how to process this new.

Tonight I feel we have got to get this because you represent a portion of a movement that has been and a movement that will be. If you don't get in this moment you are going to either stay where you have been and miss where you should be and that's what makes it so difficult for us in a year of change like this. Another thing that God has shown me, He led me from California to Colorado Springs to announce the same type of change and to Houston where we have always met, having one day there and back with my family on the third day.  You see the pattern that God takes you?  Then I went to Houston. We actually had a luncheon for the Feast of Tabernacles in Houston that had close to 600-800 leaders there. You begin to see certain cities moving.  It wasn't church meetings like you think, none of them were like that.  They were all moving differently. Then I left Houston and I flew to Dubai.  Now the reason for Dubai, we saw a breakthrough and we had 60 nations that came together from the Middle East.  There were sixty different leaders that represented the Middle East.  It was also Ramadan and the Lord said, “What you are going to do is throw a feast in the midst of Ramadan and serve these leaders here so that they are in My perfect timing for the future,” and that's what we did.  We found a five-star hotel that would cook the meal and we set down and had a Feast of Tabernacles in the midst of Jordan.  We found a Muslim restaurant that would set up a sukah for us and serve us without them eating, and in Israel with the Feast Of Tabernacles because I felt the Lord had let a path of change beginning here in California. You probably are thinking, “We are probably more important than we think we are.”   You are not going to fall off into the ocean, that ain't it.  Wolfgang- I didn’t know what to do with this.  It doesn’t make much sense...Maybe you can figure how best to fit this in.  irene

You are not going to fall off into the ocean, that isn’t it.  It is something going on in this state that is revolutionary to create great change.  We won’t see it all this year.  It is beginning.  It has begun and you are in it.  That's what we are here to announce. Psalm 119 can give you insight into the year and season you are in. Ps 119:57, “You are my portion.”  Now, I have not read this all year over anybody.  The Lord told me to wait until we got back here.  “I have said that I will keep Your words.   I entreated Your favor with my whole heart.  Be merciful to me according to your word.”   We need to look at places not in where we have violated covenant with each other but you have been sure God gave you a word for California and it has gotten violated. If you will do that you will start a major reversal of certain things. Just like where you are going tomorrow. Lord, you brought your word here, the Spirit of God. See, that is why I had to go to Houston first because God first visited Houston. When Houston rejected the move of God, God came to Azusa Street. Seymour first went to Houston what he did here.  Houston wouldn't receive him because of prejudice and he ended up here. You see there is something the Lord is doing greatly. I know there have been great Azusa Street meetings but that is not the way you look at it this year. You are going back to say, “Lord, the word that You have dropped into this state we are coming into agreement so that in this season a full beginning can come and manifest and things that didn't even get completed can come in here and manifest.” And then it says this, “I thought about my ways and turned my feet to your testimonies. I made haste and did not delay Thy commandment.” Find the understanding of Psalm 119 which is linked to the division with the Hebraic alphabet with the year system, and then you say what these scriptures say, “This year is linked to our new beginning.” Notice what it says here, “I made haste to keep Your commandments, the cord of the wicked have bound me.”

The other assignment California would have this year, is to be saying and going to certain places saying, “Those cords cannot stay in place. Every threefold cord that is not Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is now being contended for.” And I believe it has been a great sign to see this writer's strike in Hollywood.  It's a God thing, seeing this strike because God says, “I am writing some new scripts and I am developing some new production at this time, and this is My beginning, and even if they come off of strike which they are doing right now, you are going to see that they will not be able.  It will never be the same.”  We are here to announce that tonight, “It will never have the same impact that it had.  The voice and production that is coming out of this state will now change.”

Vs. 62 is key, “At midnight I will rise up to give thanks to You  because of Your righteous judgment.” This is what the Lord said to me to say to California, “This is your midnight watch.” In other words, this is why He is focused on you.  It is because we are in a midnight season in this nation, and He is calling California to the midnight watch. If you watch at the gate of this portion of this nation, and enter into the midnight watch, it is a time when you contend with the opposite of what God is doing- this is that watch- the watch of submission- but it is also the watch where occult forces establish the word over you to control your future. If California will contend in its midnight watch this year, it will cause a new breaking of the day for an entire nation. It becomes very important that we understand this midnight call to California at this time. Then the verse says, “I will rise and give You thanks.”  It means that you are not going to pray the same way. It was so important for me.

I was in an apostolic counsel for prophetic elders during Rosh Hashanah time and they started saying, “We need a prayer movement here, and a prayer movement here and how are we going to work that?”  I said, “I am going to tell you and be real honest, I am not supposed to. I am to go and serve those who God has developed over these last seven years, raise them up in their regions apostolically, because it's their regions. I am supposed to heed the call when they need my gift to assist them. I am not supposed to initiate anything. I'm to come when they call.”  It is a different season that we are in, a maturing time, prophetically. 

This is a year to contend with the gates of hell.  Yet, I believe some of us have “set in” the gates of hell these seven years.  Because of that, we have matured.  We have become wiser, and God has developed an apostolic prophetic people that are ready to move forward in this season. You see them coming together in their spheres and hearing God.  Then they are going to have to do what we did with worship last year and cross lines and align what they are hearing with other groups who are also meeting, to move forward and see their territory change this year. Do not take an old wineskin and tell everybody this is what you are going to operate in for the future. I knew God was starting to raise up the right meetings and many would gain momentum, be able to take dominion, contending at the gates- only the gates God sends you to.  We're not supposed to take every gate and say “Let’s take all of California!”  Yes, let’s take California but let us see who is at “what” gate and decree that those will have the ability to influence at the gates this year. To do this we must embrace change.

Let me define change for us.  This is not a word that we live in it, but we say “Will we ever make it through change?  I am a companion of all who fear you and those who keep your precepts.”  There's your “chet” word (the number 8): “I am going to be knit together with those who are willing to meet together.” That's what the concept of companion is- those who will meet together and align themselves, I will be knit together with them. Now that is what unity looks like.

Don't get confused in unity. If we have another 200 people flow in here we might not have the same type of unity. That isn't how unity works. Unity is when they are at one place, one time seeking God for one issue and He came down on them and they were together in their thoughts and they were aligning their thoughts with Him. Ephesians says, “Endeavor for unity," strain every nerve you have to come in together so God can come down upon us and move us into our next season.  Do not presume you are beyond a place God has for you.  Assume I am not even going to define. “The earth is full of Your words.  Oh, Lord, teach me Lord, this is a new beginning, teach me.” 

Disciples are ones taught.  You cannot rely on what you know and what you have done.  You have to rely on the Lord to move forward. Change means to alter our paths from one state, form, quality, or essence to a different state, form, quality, or essence. Biblically it’s a different level of quality than what we have ever known, develops in us. Some things we may have seen before, but it doesn't mean it's never been before. When you go back tomorrow to pray at Azusa, what you have to call forth is not the Azusa meeting.  Call forth what God is bringing in its greater quality for this season. Call forth at that place which is a gate of Heaven.  It will not always be a gate of Earth, all in the greater quality.  You are going to confess how the Spirit of God stopped moving, what turned us away from the move of the Spirit, so that Holy Spirit is now welcomed back through that gate to flood through the entire state. This season, it's not a church issue.  It will flood into all aspects of society of this particular state.

Change is linked with a concept of a succession. Again now, let’s succeed.  Let’s go to the next session passing a mantle.  That's one thing that God has brought me here tonight to release- the mantle for you to move into this next phase that God has for you. It is a corporate phase and we all have a role.  It is also an apostolic phase, different apostolic seasons, so we must respect the apostolic leaders that are helping us all move into this new season. God just chooses those He says first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, and unity comes when there are no gaps in His government. It doesn't come when we all think alike.  It comes when there are no gaps in his government in the earth. We have a major gap, because we have not seen that next carrier of good news and that next harvest force of evangelism rise up. One of the things we are birthing in this new season is a move of God for harvest. That brings us back to California.  The last one we had got birthed here, it was not received by the traditional church, and I am not sure God is even contending with the traditional church this time.  To be honest with you, I am not sure it’s even an issue in His heart this time. He is pulling together kingdom-minded people and says, “Move it on.  Find the storehouses that can receive the harvest and you make a decree over that storehouse and then I will fill it.”   It's a different level that God is bringing us in prayer, where you might say, “That's a place or storehouse of God.”  Once God's people make that decree, it sets it in motion and all of a sudden His glory begins to bring harvest into that storehouse.

Change is linked to the removal of one order to produce another order. The way the prayer movement has operated over the last 20 years there has never been a movement in this earth or nation that has had that level of continuing power and success where people have stayed fairly united and moving forward.  It has to be altered, changed, and moved out of that order into a more apostolic, territorial, functional alignment. That is one of the things we are seeing happen.

Change is always linked with a business transaction. God is making new business transactions in the heavens. And we need to understand those business transactions. Five years ago I gave a word to Michigan in a meeting.  The Lord said, “You will ride the bull for five years and start telling my people that.”  I wrote an article on that.  That ended this August and then the economy will start shifting. The economy shifted back in August, tremendously.  Therefore, what we have to say is, by the time we get to April we are in a different economic structure. What does that mean? We are not controlled by the world's structure. God is saying, “Gold” (glory).  Take all of your investments and shift to gold” and I said, “yeah.”  We are not getting fully how things are happening. Why?  We have been so pastorally oriented in the western world.  The pastor was originally the one who taught the people economy and how to prosper at every season.  When the pastor didn't do that the church ended up in poverty. God has to do something to get an influx of understanding into His people for this time.

Change is linked with revolution. Revolution is an interesting dynamic. Movement and change are synonymous. Every new season begins with revolution. The season we have been in is a “revolution season.”  Therefore, we move from revolution to reformation, from reformation to transformation.  That means the thinking processes of a culture has been shifted. I’m not sure we are looking at transformation in all of its models quite right, because it has to begin with revolution. You end up going into a lot of reforms like Josiah did.

Marilyn produced a great reform in 1978.  It’s the same season structure that was reformation, and then you move into transformation and that means, we no longer think the same way. You cannot think any longer the same way you used to think.  Your thought processes have been shifted in a new way.  Now let me say something to America, and here's where California will be the biggest shift. “We must shift our thought processes back into a covenant mentality that will create great reform in us if we begin thinking covenantal again.  War, prosperity, alignment, God's blessings- this is the season. Why am I talking revolution? In the year 5760 and 5758 I wrote about it.  It was the year of Noah.  Noah means grace.  He created a new model that had not ever had been. God came down because He was tired of everybody. It says it right there in the word, He said He was going to give His new plan. God will always come down and give His new plan. Nine’s are linked with judgment, so I do not want us getting out of whack.  He is not doing that this year.  He is offering a new- Noah means grace- He is offering you the grace to change and He is coming to California first to do that.  I don't know what else to say.

This is the third time I’ve been here since Rosh Hashanah.  God is coming to say, “I am offering you the grace to change,” and He is going to present circumstances to help you. Now notice the season we are in is a revolution season, “to circle, to create a new cycle or repeat a cycle.” In this ten year season we have been in a cycle to war for God’s covenant plan. We are not warring just to war.  We are not warring with Iraq or with Iran.  We are warring over God's covenant plan and we are still the strongest covenantal nation in the earth. Now, that’s scary but it's true.  In that, we have two years to go fully up or else we go around.  If we go around again, what happens is, we get bought by somebody else- China or the Middle East, or Dubai probably.  In the midst of being bought, we are no longer free but we are back into an Egypt system.

What God says in every eight is:  “A new beginning for your life, for the vision you are aligned with, the group you are with, and for your territory, I'm going to create a gate for you to go through”. That's what eight means.  It's not because we like to rhyme 2008 is a year of gates.  2008 is a gate of new beginning.  The Lord has one established for your life to walk right through and for your children to walk right through.  If you are seventy-five and made a hundred mistakes, God has a new gate for you to walk through this year. If we don't think like this we're are going to be assailing against a lot of curses, which is not what God is saying at this time.

California you are a gate, therefore, you have to set the course of this gate this year. You have to set this gate in right order this year. You are not contending with each other this year. It's not even an issue.  You are taking your assignment and you are doing it. You are just taking the assignments God is giving you. This is where I am to stand in this gap.  A gate can also be a gap.  If you do not get it built right for God to establish Himself at that gate it then becomes a gap, and that is where the enemy comes through. It becomes very important. Think of a wall around any sphere of authority, in your home, etc.  This year there is a gate in every wall.  Do not think “blockade” this year. Every time the enemy puts that blockage in front of you, you just stand still and say, “How am I going to move through here?”  Don't fall into a lack of faith but say, “I am coming through!” The Lord wants you to be sure you are coming through.

Turn with me now and let me show you a couple of other things. When I was here one other time on the Feast of Tabernacles, I said, “All eight's are linked with hot.”  I am here to announce that the “hot begins here and that you will move from flood to fire.  Seven’s are floods. The flood season ends here.  The fire season starts here.” There were two cities- God showed me San Diego for the year ahead, a key city.  How God wants to favor that city and move in that city, is a major key in our nation. Two things He asked me to do and two things He did sovereignly.  I went to the upper peninsula of Michigan and we could not get out when we needed to because the flights were cancelled, so where are you flying to and they said we are flying to Green Bay, Wisconsin.  “How did I get here,” and God said, “I am going to show you why what seems old and make it new,” and I am watching it with a sport team. San Diego is pretty clear.  Since October God is watching San Diego.

Another thing God did was He took me to Baton Rouge and I have stayed very focused with Louisiana since they went through Katrina.  Baton Rouge was where I gave the word of purifying wind and the water would rise, that Baton Rouge was a “first refuge city.”  They kept that word and watched that word.  Katrina meant purification and they knew this is it.  One church was even prepared for what was ahead and you can think about it.  That city doubled its population overnight. It was a major change, and God said, “You prophesy right now that I will start a new work at the beginning of the year and New Orleans, and as a sign LSU will win the National Championship.”  When I say those things and the anointing comes on, you begin to think, “I am just literally out of my mind, and Lord, these things people kill you for.”  It was just real clear.  I am going to work in Southern Louisiana and what is blocked up in the heavens, its going to start changing at the first of this year.

After the first loss of LSU they called me and I said, “God said it.” After the second loss, I had by faith to say, “I know God.” I cannot explain it.  He is going to have to rearrange everything. It was interesting how God was leading me here, because even with a sport team like that, you watch the favor God's pulling.  The eyes of a people of a nation focus in and you have to say, “It’s unusual, it’s supernatural, what God is doing.”  It has been very clear this year. It was very clear that I was to watch Louisiana, San Diego, and Green Bay, and it's been very clear. To get into the new, you must move by revelation. That's why you have meetings like this, to gain revelation. Jesus did that. Matthew 16 when it is time to enter into the new, you must have revelation.

Jesus took his disciples to Cesarea-Phillipi the darkest place in the region and the worship of idols were worshipped there. He said, “Who do people say that I am?  What are the people are talking about there? What are they thinking?  How are they viewing this new season? What are they saying about Me out there? Some say Elijah, some John the Baptist, one of the prophets.”   Then He asked, “Who do you say that I am?”  All the new seasons can begin in very dark places and all new seasons begin with critical thinking. The Lord must make us think differently. Peter taps in with all his problems, and he says, “You are the Christ,” and Jesus says, “Only the Father could have broken in and shown you that Peter, and because of that I am going to create a foundational building for the future.  I will build upon this and add sons and daughters to this revelation, you just had.”  And He said, “Hell will not be able to ascend it, the gates of Hell.” 

In 208 every new beginning you will contend with the gates.  That's why, when I wrote Future War of the Church I said our most intensive year of war is 2008, because we are contending against Hells gates.  Hell is saying, “If I lose, I have lost it for the whole next season and God's people will gain momentum moving in a new way.”  We must understand this is a very supernatural year, with supernatural positioning.  Some are gaining jobs and some loosing jobs.  Some are willingly giving it up and some are having it propped out of your hands, because He has to get us into a new place. Then Jesus said, “You will build My church, and I will give you My keys to unlock My kingdom.”  You do not build a kingdom, you unlock it.  That is why it takes us all together.  Unless we come in unity, they will stay locked up, and not move forward.  We need to evaluate what is moving in your midst. Every movement needs to be evaluated and align the movements to unlock the Kingdom. Like different combinations of lock. 

See there’s a combination up in Redding.  If you do not go get that number, you cannot unlock the kingdom plan of God of here.  If you do not go to San Diego and get that number, you can't get the full combination. That's unlocking the kingdom. Then notice Peter has the great revelation and gets the prophecy for the future.  It is still our prophecy, and then 5 minutes later, Jesus gives another prophecy, “I have to go to Jerusalem and I am going to die there.” Peter turns on Him like a mad dog. He did not like that prophecy. Now hear me, and he rebukes the Lord.  Look at it in the Greek. It says his “whole emotion and mind withstood that plan of God,” and that is why Jesus said, “I will contend with this gate right now, get thee behind me satan, and because he has emboldened you Peter, I prayed for you.  You are going to be sifted but you are going to make it.  All that satan is working in you to stop the new, it's going to get pulled out of you.” It could not get pulled out of Judas, and they really did about the same thing. It's not really that easy to get into the new, unless you are willing to hear and do what God tells you to do, just come to a meeting like this.  He drops the number for the combination that He's beginning to form over the whole region just by us being here. He starts speaking things, and you move out into other things.  We all have a sense to hear Him when He says, “San Diego,” and to watch how the fire began there to start in San Diego. 

I want to say to you, “You are a gate, and Hell at this gate will not prevail against you and there are keys hanging over California that are not hanging over any other state in the region.  Watch the Lord as He drops those keys one by one by one.”
